KCI Engineering Consultants (KCI) has been successfully providing complete, multi‐disciplined engineering services to the Nuclear Power Industry, Utilities, and others since 1989. KCI’s areas of expertise range from design modifications, design analysis, and equipment qualification services to challenging electrical and I&C problem-solving, qualification testing, and equipment replacement/supply.

KCI has an audited and approved Quality Assurance (QA) program that is compliant with U.S. 1OCFR50 Appendix B, 10CFR21 Reporting, ANSI N45.2, ASME NQA-1-1989 and ASME NQA-1-1994, ANSI N45.2.11-1974, N18.7 (1972), and Canadian CSA Standard N286-12.

Experience

KCI has a long, proven history of providing engineering consulting services to the Nuclear, Utility and Industrial markets. KCI’s experience includes day-to-day design and EQ activities, defending EQ Regulatory NRC audits, resolving challenging electrical and I&C issues, designing and supplying motor control center (MCC) buckets and replacement parts, leading and performing operability and emergent work – both analytical and laboratory testing and supporting license renewal efforts. KCI has recognized experts that are participants in several industry professional organizations including IEEE, ASME, NUGEQ, and others and has authored numerous technical papers.
